WinRAR - What's new in the latest 5.01 version :

1. RAR 5.0 archives can include an optional quick open informat controlled with -qo[-|+] switch or "Quick open information" options.group in archiving dialog. It allows to open the archive contents in WinRAR faster.This version provides better update performance for archives containing both quick open information and service records,such as NTFS file security. Also default parameters of quick open information are optimized to achieve faster open time for such archives.
2. Bugs fixed:
a) "Find" command could fail when searching text string in .7z archives;
b) when opening RAR 5.0 archive with encrypted file names stored in another such archive, WinRAR could issue an erroneous message that password is incorrect. It happened only if passwords to inner and outer archives were different. It did not affect extraction, all files could be unpacked regardless of this message;
c) option "Use for all archives" in password dialog did not suppress additional password requests for RAR 5.0 archives with encrypted file names;
d) WinRAR address bar did not process correctly environment variable based paths, such as %temp%;
e) storing NTFS file security and alternate data streams did not work for file pathnames longer than 260 characters;
f) "Test" command could erroneously report damaged data in valid recovery record if only a part of files in RAR 5.0 archive was tested. It did not happen if entire archive contents was tested;
g) "Test" command erroneously reported errors when verifying RAR 4.x Unix symbolic links;
h) WinRAR "View" command did not work for files inside of BZIP2 archives;
i) if "High precision modification time" option in archiving dialog was turned off, WinRAR did not store the modification time at all instead of storing a lower precision time
j) destination paths containing .\ or ..\ component did not work when extracting non-RAR archives in WinRAR command line mode;
k) WinRAR failed to unpack multivolume CAB archives.

When tested, PTCL Smart TV Application seemed seamless. Streaming was smooth and Quality was fine. Streaming runs on standard definition with 512 k bits per second.
It is likely that video stream won’t buffer with standard Evo connection with or over 80-90 Kpbs download speed. Anything below 50-60 kbps can cause issues in video stream as it may buffer a lot.

Currently PTCL Smart TV Application is available to EVO customers only. All EVO customers can sign-up by dialing 1236 (and share your active EVO number) to avail PTCL Smart TV Application. PTCL says that username and password will be sent out to customers via email.

the first or last line in the range will still remove it. 
History: Saving milestones for all files in a project fails if the project has closed files that were never 
opened in the current EditPad session. 
Installer: License key was not installed when installing EditPad 7.0.9, 7.1.0, or 7.1.1 silently. 
Mouse pointer did not snap to the default button when this option is turned on in the Control Panel. 
Preferences, Keyboard: Alt+letter combinations used as accelerators on the Preferences form could

Search|Replace All with the "Line by Line" option no longer deletes the line break at the end of the line 
if the replacement text is not blank. This prevents the next line from being appended to the replaced 
line and prevents all lines after the first match from being deleted if the search term is part of the 
replacement text. 
Spell check panel did not scale properly on high DPI systems. 
Spell check: Double-clicking a misspelled word highlighted by live spelling while the spell check panel was 
still busy finding suggestions for a previously double-clicked word closed the spell checker instead of 
checking the new word. 
Spell check: Words that are the result of automatic replacements by the spell checker should not be 
marked as misspelled, even if the original dictionary does not contain them. 
Syntax coloring sometimes stops too soon with updating the colors while you edit the file, causing old 
colors that have become incorrect to persist on lines after the line you're editing. 
Syntax coloring: Text without highlighting on the active line following a line with highlighting 
"until right margin" was sometimes painted using the "until right margin" color from the previous line 
when the option to highlight the active line was enabled. 
Tools: Command lines using non-executable files were not launched correctly if the file association for 
the file contained %SystemRoot% in the middle. 
UTF-8 auto-detection ignored an invalid UTF-8 sequence at the very end of the file. 
View|Browser started Firefox minimized if Firefox was not running and Firefox was the default browser 
and EditPad Pro was configured to use the default browser. 
View|Custom Layouts: If restoring a layout triggered any kind of error, the menu with the saved layouts 
became blank. 
View|Office 2003: Switching to or from the Office 2003 display style worked only once during each EditPad 
session (7.1.x only). 
View|Restore Default Layout now also restores the size and position of the main editor, in case it has 
become dislodged from its normally fixed location. 
View|Restore Default Layout squished toolbar icons together on PCs configured for 144 DPI (150%) or more.
